'Happy Bachday!' Card and Envelope
It’s 1699 and J.S.Bach is celebrating his birthday in style with balloons, bunting, cupcakes and a suitably jaunty hat. Happy Bachday!
A perfect birthday card for music lovers, it shows my version of the statue of J.S.Bach that stands in front of the Thomaskirche (St.Thomas’ church) in his adopted home town of Leipzig in Germany. Bach spent 27 years in Leipzig working as the cantor and director of music, writing some of his most well-loved sacred and secular works there.
